Summary

Fractax is an application that runs on your computer. We have no servers storing your certificates, notifications or data. This website uses no cookies or tracking tools.

What the application does with your data

• Certificates, passwords and settings: stored encrypted on your computer, protected by your master password. They are never sent to Fractax.
• Government websites and the DEHú: the application connects directly from your computer when you use them or to check your notifications and communications. Those bodies process your data under their own policies.
• Notification documents: stored only on your computer.
• Premium license: when activating or checking the license, the application sends our payments and licensing provider, Polar, the license key, an anonymous computer identifier (a cryptographic digest that does not reveal who you are) and the operating system. Your certificates and personal data are not sent.
• Updates: the application checks for new versions on GitHub, which may log your IP address.
• Support: if you write to us (including "Report a problem", which opens your email app), we process your email and what you tell us only to reply.

Other people's certificates

If you import certificates of other individuals or legal entities into Fractax (for example, as an advisor or firm), you decide what data you process and you are responsible for that processing: you need their authorisation and must comply with data protection law. Fractax does not receive that data: everything stays encrypted on your computer.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), acting as merchant of record: it processes your payment and billing data, VAT and invoices under its own privacy policy. We receive from Polar the data needed to manage your license (for example, your email and subscription status).

This website

It is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may log technical access data such as your IP address for security reasons. We use no cookies or analytics.

Legal basis and retention

We process the data needed to provide the service you buy (performance of a contract) and to meet legal obligations. We keep it for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to support@fractax.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
