Frequently asked questions
Can I have several certificates open at once?
Yes, that's what Fractax does. Each certificate has its own session and its own tabs, kept apart from the rest. You can be on the same website with two different certificates at once and switch between them with one click.
Do I need to be a firm to use Fractax?
No. It works for anyone with several digital certificates: individuals, freelancers, companies, advisors or firms.
Are my certificates sent anywhere?
No. Everything is stored encrypted on your computer, protected by your master password. Notification checks and government websites are accessed from your own computer.
What is a Large Recipient (Gran Destinatario)?
A free registration required by the Spanish administration so that a program can check your notifications and communications automatically. It's done once, on its website, and Fractax guides you: it opens it with your certificate and gives you what to paste.
Does opening a notification in Fractax have legal effects?
Yes, the same as opening it on the official website: it counts as received and the deadline starts. That's why Fractax always asks you to confirm. Communications are informative and start no deadline.
What happens if I stop paying for Premium?
Nothing is lost. You go back to Free: your certificates keep working, you just can't add more while you have 2 or more.
Can I use it on several computers?
With Premium, the same license works on 3 computers. You can free one up from the app to use it on another.
Does it work offline?
The browser and your certificates, yes. Checking notifications needs a connection. The Premium license stays valid for up to 14 days offline.
